Five Accounting Firms Among LinkedIn’s Top Companies to Grow Your Career in 2024
The 50 companies included in the 2024 ranking offer their employees what LinkedIn says are eight pillars that lead to career growth.

LinkedIn released its eighth annual Top Companies ranking last week—which identifies the 50 best places for professionals to develop their skills and grow their careers—and five of the largest public accounting firms in the U.S. made this year’s list, with two finishing within the top five.
All 50 companies included in the 2024 ranking offer their employees what LinkedIn says are eight pillars that lead to career growth progression:
- Ability to advance
- Skills growth
- Company stability
- External opportunity
- Company affinity
- Gender diversity
- Educational background
- Employee presence in the country

“The list shows that regardless of industry—banking, consulting, accounting, healthcare, energy, technology, and more—these organizations are making serious investments in their employees’ development,” LinkedIn said.
The five accounting firms that made the 2024 LinkedIn Top Companies and where they were ranked are:
4. Deloitte
5. PwC
18. EY
27. KPMG
46. BDO USA
Because Deloitte and PwC were among the top 10 companies, LinkedIn provided a brief explanation of why both firms were high on the list.
For Deloitte, LinkedIn included, “How they’re preparing employees for the future of work: Through Project 120, Deloitte has committed $1.4 billion to personalized learning and development opportunities for its employees to develop critical leadership skills, such as how to process stress, and tech skills related to areas like AI, quantum computing and 5G.”
For PwC, LinkedIn said, “How they foster inclusion and belonging: PwC has 12 ‘Inclusion Networks’ open to its employees with shared backgrounds, experiences and interests—and has seen membership grow 21% over the past two years, now representing 40% of its U.S. workforce.”
LinkedIn provided rankings of its top 50 companies for 23 countries, including the U.S. EY appears on the list in 11 countries, and Deloitte on 10 countries’ lists.
